Early Prototyping for an Emotionally Reflective Chatbot

BRIEF

Clarity, a reflective chatbot, works with users to help them better articulate and reflect upon their current mental state. Through reflection, NLP and tagging, we offer a way to grow, a way to learn about themselves, and further cultivate their Self.

The MVP website for Clarity was developed through Squarespace.

During this Masters project, two prototypes were developed:

1) one to help people clarify their emotional state through hashtag emotions and suggestions, and

2) to enact a reflective listening exercise

During this time, our team mimicked chatbot messing through rapid response, as participants messaged via text message.
